External funding opportunities
The acquisition of external funding is becoming increasingly important at universities, including the Medical University of Innsbruck. Research infrastructure
Investment and repair applications are handled by the Department of Finance and Accounting (Controlling) in close coordination with the Vice Rectorate for Research. Decisions regarding new investments are made by an infrastructure commission appointed by the Rectorate. Decisions on pact purchases (joint purchases by the Medical University and the Tyrol Clinics) are prepared in a commission with equal representation from the Medical University of Innsbruck and the Tyrol Clinics.
