Executive Vice President Christine Bandtlow

In order to meet the associated standards and to be able to offer our highly qualified young scientists an exclusive offer, Christine Bandtlow, Vice President for Research and International Relations, launched the Junior Faculty @MedUniIbk in 2022. The aim of the Junior Faculty @MedUniIbk is to attract outstanding scientists and to bind them to the Medical University of Innsbruck in the long term. With the Junior Faculty @MedUniIbk, we offer young scientists structured career paths that are professionally supported and are available to them with individual offers. Central to this is ongoing development as well as internal and external networking.

We represent researchers who are both early and mid-career. Those who are already academic leaders or would like to become so.

University assistants (postdoc), private lecturers, assistant professors and associate professors are members of the Junior Faculty @MedUniIbk.

Within the framework of the Junior Faculty @MedUniIbk, we offer various events in different formats as well as various advisory, training and further education opportunities for young scientists.
