Caregiving for Relatives
Balancing work and family life also includes the care of relatives. Employees are often unexpectedly confronted with this enormous challenge and additional burden, which can make work or studies more difficult. The Medical University of Innsbruck has created an overview of contact points for caregiving relatives for affected employees and students and would like to help you deal with this difficult situation. You are welcome to arrange a personal consultation.

App for counseling and support in caregiving
All employees and students of the Medical University of Innsbruck and their family members can use the “Alles Clara” app free of charge. Qualified nursing staff or psychologists provide professional advice via chat on all topics related to caregiving. If you are responsible for the care of family members, friends, or neighbors, you will receive support in navigating the health and social system, recommendations for care organizations or types of care, financial tips, and emotional support in challenging situations. Employees can find further information and the access code for free counseling on the intranet; students should contact the Work-Family Compatibility Department.
