Mag.^a Birgit Hochenegger-Stoirer, BA, LL.M

Birgit Hochenegger-Stoirer, born in Leoben (Austria) in 1973, studied in Italy, Scotland and Graz. In addition to her degree in Business Education, she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M) program. Prior to her move to Innsbruck in 2024, the financial expert held the position of Executive Vice President for Financial Management, Legal Affairs, and Digitalization at the Medical University of Graz for four years.

Following her studies, the Styrian native spent over 20 years working in finance for internationally operating industrial companies. After holding various management positions and being CEO at Pankl Racing Systems AG, she became finance director of HTI High Tech Industries AG. In this role, she spearheaded significant restructuring efforts, multiple capital increases, and the strategic realignment of the stock market listed tech company. Before transitioning to the Medical University of Graz, she, along with a group of investors, established the internationally active hydropower fund AIFMG (enso hydro GmbH).
