PhD students can receive funding from the Erasmus programme for stays abroad as part of their studies.

This funding amounts to  € 470 to € 670 per month. Maximum funding period 5 months. In addition, travel expenses support is paid out. The amount is calculated based on the distance from the host university to the home university.

The minimum length of stay, in order to receive Erasmus funding, is two calendar months.

Options:

  • Acquisition of ECTS credits for completing courses from the curriculum
  • Stays abroad in connection with writing the PhD Thesis
  • Voluntary internships
